As another fruitful year comes to a close, we take a look back at our triumphs and achievements. We started the 2024 journey on an exciting note and that is exactly how it turned out to be. Important Projects that Drove a Real Change
- Move 2 IncluDE - A special gesture for the specially-abled
This is a movement that empowers and encourages inclusion within the community. It is an athletic initiative for those with physical or cognitive challenges. Hopkins & Sons is delighted to play our part in this. We keep a fleet of 10 adaptive running chairs at our storage facility and deliver them to the race site. These specially designed bikes can be used by people of any age and ability. We can also retrieve and deliver a single mobility chair from our facility whenever required. We also own our very own special bike given to us by Move2IncluDE.
- Delaware Hospice Program - An annual festival of trees
Hopkins & Sons has been delivering Christmas trees as part of this remarkable festive tradition for 37 years now. It brings us a great amount of joy to safely move these bundles of joy to Delaware Hospice. The community celebrates the grand party together. After the event, these trees are shipped to homeless shelters and children's charities to spread happiness and the spirit of Christmas.
New Discoveries and Experiences
We have adopted and implemented new technology to make the estimating process quick and virtual. At the same time, we also realized that people are more eager to do a hands-on estimating process. Being able to blend these options and work with what the client prefers most, allows us to offer a personalized touch to each service. It gives our team a chance to interact well with our clients and build a bridge of trust before the move. This assists in forging long-term relationships with them. We are proud to be a part of this multi-generational team that puts clients' needs at the forefront and collaborates to find the most ideal moving and storage solutions.

Reflecting on this past year, we are proud to be part of our client’s journeys that transform their lives. Despite the sad moments as it relates to the hurricanes in Georgia and Florida, our dedicated team has managed to overcome these challenges and move forward with strength and resilience.
